Job Summary And QualificationsPhysical Therapy Assistant (acute care) - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed

Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation and oversight of support staff. Performs daily treatments as outlined by Primary Physical Therapist. Maintains accurate and pertinent documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries on all scheduled patients in a timely and professional manner. Assesses and orders equipment to meet needs of patient (i.e., wheelchairs, walker, cushions, braces). Participates in rehabilitation development projects, including quality assessment and improvement program procedures, program evaluations, peer reviews.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree
• State licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
