How long do I have to cancel Allianz insurance?
When you purchase your travel insurance policy from Allianz Global Assistance, you have a 10-day free look period. You can cancel your policy anytime within this cooling off period and get a refund as long as your trip has not started, and you have not made a claim.
For a full refund of your premium, you must cancel within 15 days of your plan purchase (depending on your state of residence) and must not have filed a claim or departed on your trip. Premiums are non-refundable after this period.
The customer will be given a full refund of the premium paid to Allianz Partners, provided that they have not already started their journey or they do not want to claim under the policy. service fee is not being charged by Allianz Partners.
POLICY CANCELLATION
You may also cancel the policy at any time however, if you cancel the policy after the first 14 days of receipt of the documents, no premium refund will be given.
If you notify us that you are not completely satisfied with your purchased plan within 10 days of the date of issue of this Policy of Insurance as indicated on your declaration page, we will provide a full refund if you have not already departed on your trip or filed a claim.
