I'm wagering on the Mariners ML on Monday night. NY has won seven straight, but it's in for a challenge tomorrow against Logan Gilbert. The Seattle SP boasts a WHIP under 1.00 and is a good bet for at least six or seven strikeouts each time out. He doesn't have great career numbers versus the Yankees, but I feel confident he can "get right" against NY on Monday.
His counterpart, Marcus Stroman, dazzled in his last outing, but his WHIP is closer to 1.50, and he's been home run-prone. Two starts ago, he surrendered four runs on nine hits, including two HRs, and two walks in a loss to the Astros. The Mariners rank 9th in the big leagues in long balls and average the second-fewest runners left in scoring position per game.
I'll bet Gilbert outpitches Stroman before exiting. After he departs, the Seattle bullpen (1.12 WHIP) can close the door on the Bronx Bombers.

NY's bullpen also ranks 1st in ERA and has allowed the second-fewest HRs.
The Yankees are unlikely to put a lot of runners on base against Gilbert and the M's relievers. The Seattle starter has kept the ball in the yard, as three of his seven homers allowed were in one start, and he's likely to be locked in against a team that's had his number in the past.
With two quality starters on the bump and two elite bullpens backing them up, I don't envision these teams combining for more than seven runs.
